Westwater Canyon Multi-Sport Reviews

"A great Moab, vacation package!"

I just spent several days having a great vacation in Moab, UT. I chose to book the Westwater Multisport trip through Western River Expeditions & Moab Adventure Center. I stayed at Red Cliffs Adventure Ranch for 3 nights. The staff was very attentive. I wish we could have stayed another day or two just to wind down and enjoy the lodge. The rooms were very nice. The printed materials told me what to prepare for and all of the guides were great – everyone was knowledgeable and friendly. The Hummer Safari was awesome and fun. The raft trip on Westwater Canyon was what you promised. We are very pleased with the whole adventure experience we had in Moab. - Patricia – El Paso, TX

We booked an adventure package through MAC that we just couldn't have been more pleased with. We got 3 nights lodging at the Red Cliffs Lodge, 3 all you can eat hot/cold buffet breakfasts, a $60 dinner voucher, a 2 hour Hummer tour and a full day of rafting with lunch in Westwater Canyon of the CO. Everything was just perfect. The Red Cliff is an amazing place to stay and the food was very good there. Our Hummer driver/guide Mike was polite, safe and full of cool local info. Our guides from Western River Expeditions were professional, skilled, knowledgeable and safe. We had an absolute blast.

The rafting trip made the trip to Utah complete.

My husband and I went to Utah as adventurous outdoorsy people. We spent several days biking and hiking before spending our final day with the folks from Moab Adventure Center on a full day rafting the Westwater Canyon. We chose this trip so we could have the bigger rapids. We were not disappointed!

From the get-go, the signing in, travel to the launch area and safety talks were professional and easy. Once on the river the guides were incredibly helpful and courteous hosts. We rafted on gentle waters a bit, swam in the Colorado River and stopped for a leisurely lunch. During the online booking I noted I was gluten intolerant (not really expecting a special meal just for me but thought maybe if they had several requests...) and they provided gluten free bread just for me. Very impressed they actually read my note in the reservation and got this for me!

After lunch the rapids began. EXCELLENT! Our rafts guide, Russel, was great at guiding and making it exciting too. During gentle times he told the history of the canyons, rocks, wildlife, etc. and not in some boring way- he had us laughing out loud! I will stop rambling of my adventures so you can now go book your own!
