Klondike Bluffs E-Bike Tour: Ride Slickrock, See Dinosaur Tracks, and Hike to Stunning Views of Arches National Park
Explore Moab’s vast slickrock playground on an e-bike adventure through the Klondike Bluffs. This intermediate ride combines the thrill of off-road exploration with the ease of pedal-assist technology, helping you conquer the steady climb to a breathtaking overlook above Arches National Park.
Along the way, pause to see real dinosaur tracks preserved in the sandstone and imagine this landscape teeming with life millions of years ago. Midway through, enjoy a short hike into the park for sweeping views of red bluffs, narrow canyons, and distant arches glowing in the desert light.
The ride back is a smooth, mostly downhill descent filled with playful dips and curves that test your balance and control. It’s an exhilarating mix of motion, history, and scenery that showcases the best of Moab’s red rock country.
Important: A minimum of two guests is required for this tour. Solo riders may join for an additional $95 plus tax. All riders must bring their own water and be able to operate hand brakes and shifting systems confidently.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this tour suitable for intermediate riders?
Yes. The Klondike Bluffs ride is designed for riders with some biking experience who are comfortable on dirt trails. The e-mountain bikes provide motor assistance on the longer slickrock climbs, making the route accessible without taking away the fun challenge of riding varied terrain. However, these are heavier bikes with more power and require a level of familiarity and comfort with regular mountain bikes to be comfortable riding an e-mountain bike. What’s included in the tour?
We provide a high-quality e-mountain bike and helmet, plus round-trip shuttle service from downtown Moab to the Klondike Bluffs trailhead. You’ll be guided by a professional who knows the route and the local highlights—including where to spot dinosaur tracks. Riders should bring their own hydration pack or water bottle filled with water. How long is the ride?
The tour lasts about 4.5 hours total, including shuttle time. Expect 2–3 hours of actual trail time, with breaks for photos, water, and enjoying the views of Arches National Park in the distance. How far is the trailhead from Moab Adventure Center?
