Electric Dirt Bike Tour - Colorado River Overlook

Wind your way through layer after layer of majestic rock formations, open valleys, and other-worldly rock formations along a spectacular trail until you climb the final hill to the unforgettable view into Canyonlands National Park. From 800 feet above the Colorado River, you'll take in the vista made famous by the movie scene from “Thelma & Louise.”

This electric dirt bike tour is suitable for beginning to intermediate riders.

​What You Need to Know:

We require a minimum of 12 yrs of age and a minimum height of 65 inches (5 feet 5 inches) to ensure our guests fit comfortably on the e-dirt bikes.

Where to Meet

We meet all guests at the trailhead for the selected tour. Trailheads are outside Moab City and require planning to arrive on time. Please check your trip details for meeting locations and plan ahead to arrive early.

The start location for the Colorado River Overlook Tour is a 30-minute drive from Moab City.

Drive North on Hwy 191 (Main Street) after crossing the Colorado River, continuing 1.3 miles. turn left onto Potash Road. Follow Potash Road 16.6 miles, past the Intrepid Mine location, until you reach the end of the pavement. Turn left into the parking area and look for the E-Motion Moab trailer in this area.

Please note that Cellular service is not available in this area. Please plan ahead and download the directions and map.

Please arrive at least 10 minutes early. Make sure everyone in your group has signed their waiver online to speed up our check-in process and departure.

What To Wear
Please dress for the weather of the day.
- Closed-toe shoes and long pants are required for all riders.
- Be sure to also wear sunscreen.
- Sunglasses are recommended.
- During winter weather conditions be sure to bring winter-style gloves.
What to Bring
- Bring a full water bottle for each guest (there is no water available at the trailhead)
- Bring a small backpack for each group to carry the water bottles
- We recommend that all riders bring sunglasses to protect against the sun, wind, and dust on the trail. (Helmet-compatible goggles are also ok).
