Moab Canyoneering Fun
Our Moab Canyoneering trip was so fun. The guides not only knew how to make the experience safe, but they also knew a lot about the area, sharing interesting facts and history. I can't wait to try canyoneering again sometime.

The guide was great at explaining everything we were going to do on the Ephedra's Grotto Canyoneering Trip. The rappelling experience was great!
Before we left for our Ephedras Grotto Canyoneering Trip. The Moab Adventure Center sent us solid information and suggested gear/materials to bring along. Our guide, Chris, was absolutely fantastic, from exhibiting a fantastic knowledge of the area to cracking jokes with the crew, we could not have asked for a better guide. Rappelling was an unforgettable experience and the sites of the trip were amazing.
My husband and I had a canyoneering adventure in July, 2012. The guides made the experience unforgettable. Their knowledge of the area and expertise in rappelling made the tour very informative, as well as safe, but exciting at the same time. We had a great time!
What an AWESOME experience! From the time that we booked through Moab Adventure Center, to hiking up the trail with our guides, Matt and Olivia, this experience was the best! The level of professionalism of everyone involved, to the experience itself, we thoroughly enjoyed this experience and would book again through the Adventure Center. Thank you for making our first canyoneering experience an awesome one!
Gaar was an excellent guide on the Ephedra’s Grotto Canyoneering. He explained the safety precautions he was taking in preparing for our rappels and talked each of us through the experience. As well, Gaar seemed to have much knowledge with the nature that surrounded us. I much appreciated the added information he shared during the hikes to and from the rappels. It was my first but not my last try at rappelling!
I had been wanting to rappel in canyons for some time and finally got the chance in Moab. I’m 68 and had a grand time doing the long drops into two pools of water and the great rappel off the arch. It was fun hearing the hikers below talking about us. JC (the guide) pointed out lots of things and helped with some simple rock climbing.
What to take, where to eat, where to stay, what to do, and a few little secrets on the side. Not unlike your own personal Jiminy Cricket, (minus the worries of the little guy getting smooshed) the Moab Insiders Guide will provide you with all the essentials for a perfect Moab experience.
