It's convenient to leave the car parked at the hotel and walk to Moab Adventure Center when it's time to meet for a tour - or to grab a bite to eat or shop downtown. You can use the map image below to understand your hotel relative to other places you'll want to see and do while in Moab, like restaurants and gift shops. Beyond a walking distance of downtown shopping and dining, we've listed other hotels along Main Street or Highway 191 where a drive into town will be required. Check with Moab Adventure Center if the tour you've booked includes pickup from your hotel. That's only sometimes available, but it never hurts to ask! Other lodging options (ranches) are 20 minutes drive time from downtown Moab and would require some forethought on timing, etc.

Best Western Canyonlands InnMoab is only six miles from the entrance to Arches National Park, but the hotels located north of the more crowded downtown section of Moab can jump on those further south. Along with Arches National Park, many other attractions like the Colorado River corridor highways, Dead Horse Point State Park, and Canyonlands National Park overlooks are accessed north of town.
Note: Moab is still a tiny town enough not to have a full-service taxi or Uber services. A car rental is still the best option for getting around the Moab area.
