3-Day Vacation: Tomcar®, Raft & Hummer®

DAY ONE » Join us for the ultimate experience of do-it-yourself driving in the amazing, all-new Tomcar®. The Tomcar® offers a compelling concept for the serious off-road experience. A 2- passenger vehicle designed for those in search of affordable, off-road fun! A 4-point safety belt, 12 inches of suspension travel, roll bars, and enclosed roof make the Tomcar® the most stable and comfortable off-road experience available.

The Tomcar® Safari will take you through some of Utah’s most scenic attractions including Uranium Arch, Monitor and Merrimac Buttes. Top it all off with an astounding viewpoint overlooking 7-Mile Canyon, 5 different mountain ranges, Arches National Park and the town of Moab. Throughout our adventure, Utah's famous slickrock and desert sands provide unparalleled off-road driving and countless trails to test your skills in maneuvering your Tomcar® through, up and over breathtaking terrain – all under the watchful eye of your experienced Adventure Center guide.

DAY 2 » On one of our most popular trips, you’ll sample the beauty and excitement of the full-day trip on an AM half-day river adventure. This trip begins at Hittle Bottom with an astounding view of magnificent Fisher Towers. Calm waters on the first part of journey provide relaxation and some time to learn about the geology of this unique area. After you're accustomed to the river and ready for some fun, you'll hear whitewater just around the bend - Onion Creek Rapid. The excitement continues with Professor Creek Rapid, Cloudburst and Ida Gulch with plenty of time to relax and swim between each rapid. On this trip, you can paddle your own craft with paddle rafts or inflatable kayaks or sit back and relax in an oar boat while your guide does all the work. This is an excellent option for those combining the river adventure with one of Western’s other fun-filled tours available at the Moab Adventure Center. Colorado River map »

DAY 3 » The two-hour Hummer® Safari departs several times each day from the Moab Adventure Center. Within minutes of departure you'll be scaling one of Moab's famous red rock fins on your way to an area known as "Hell's Revenge." We'll weave in and out of rock canyons, feel the power and confidence of the Hummer as it climbs steep sandstone hills. While on the trip your guides will explain to you the geology of the area, along with the history of the Canyonlands area. Midway through our 4x4 safari, we'll reach a spectacular overlook into the Colorado River and Arches National Park. Here, you'll have time to get out, enjoy a snack and take photos of the incredible surroundings including awesome views of the La Sal Mountains. After climbing over more exciting terrain, we'll take another brief stop to look over the Moab Valley before we drop off the rim and head back to the Moab Adventure Center.
