Your air journey begins at the Canyonlands Airport, just 17 scenic miles north of Moab. After meeting your pilot/guide, a comfortable seat is reserved in a high-wing Cessna aircraft equipped with voice-activated headphones which allow conversations between passengers and pilot. Everyone has a window seat of the amazing views of Canyonlands National Park, the largest of the five National Parks in Utah. As you lift off, your pilot will describe the geology and dynamics of the Colorado River and Green River, the Island in the Sky, and wondrous Maze and Needles Districts of Canyonlands.
