Our Westwater Canyon trip on the Colorado River begins at the Westwater ranger station near the Colorado/Utah border. From there the river winds through a narrow canyon composed of some of the most unique geology on earth. In fact, the beautiful black schist rock that give this section of river it's amazing rapids exists in only 3 places in the world.
