The Colorado River begins in Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado. Down river from Moab, the Colorado River enters Cataract Canyon which feeds into lake Powell. Below Lake Powell, the Colorado River makes its way through Grand Canyon and then into Lake Mead in Nevada.
Just outside of Moab, Utah, the river flows perhaps one of the most diverse and beautiful on the Colorado. From the one-of-a-kind geology and incredible whitewater in Westwater Canyon to the sweeping sun-bathed landscapes of the Colorado River through Castle Valley, this section of river offers must-do rafting adventures.
