Colorado River Mid-Day Rafting Adventure with Exclusive BBQ Lunch

On one of our our most popular Moab adventures, you’ll sample the beauty and excitement of the full-day rafting trip on this half-day afternoon river adventure. This trip begins just below Rocky Rapid rapid. We'll float a calm stretch down to our exclusive hot barbecue lunch buffet at a riverside ranch. You'll savor freshly-grilled burgers, chicken, hot dogs or veggie patties, complimented by side salads and giant cookies. Drinks include ice-cold lemonade, iced tea and water. After lunch, we'll raft White's Rapid and a few other moderate splashes as the canyon narrows along one of the West's most scenic by-ways bordering Arches National Park. On this trip, you can paddle in a raft or an inflatable kayak. The Mid-Day trip is an excellent option for combining the river adventure with other fun-filled tours available at the Moab Adventure Center, or taking a more leisurely morning before starting your adventures.

2 Boat choices available - Paddle rafts (everyone participates) and 2-person inflatable kayaks (weather, temperatures and water levels permitting) . Specify any preferences upon reservation.

Avoid the mud at lunch with an exclusive lunch stop for Moab Adventure Center guests at the Red Cliffs Lodge lunch pavilion just beyond the docks at Red Cliffs Lodge. Be sure to frame up the view upstream from this picturesque and luxurious lunch stop. This is the iconic wild west landscape.

Hot-off-the-grill burgers and franks sizzle at the end of a stacked buffet with salads, chips, cookies and drinks. Eat in the shade of the pavillion, or soak up the sun out on the well-kept lawn, firepit, and tipis that stand majestically along the river's edge.

The Full-Day rafting and Mid-Day rafting trips have this lunch provided with the trip price. After this hearty meal, you'll gather again at the docks to resume your journey down the Colorado River. White's Rapid, one of the biggest rapids of the day is just around the corner!
